Due to shortage of space, we have had to put more pics on another webpage. You are all invited to check them out, post a comment, etc. Most of our Missouri pics are on that webpage. Go to
Some of our horses have pedigrees that are very versatile with the great names like Two Eyed Jack, Freckles Playboy, Skipper W, Smart Little Jerry and Poco Bueno, just to name a few.
Vana is our cremello mare that our niece was suppose to buy back in June. She's still here. Here's some pics of her, she's Skipper W bred top and bottom, is a sweet mare, does have some trust issues at first until she gets to know you, then will give you 110%. She has acted like she had been beaten before. She currently has front shoes on, utd on vacc/coggins. She hasn't been ridden since June.

This is Ben, he's out of Smart Little Jerry stock and is quick, fast and athletic! He can spin on a dime and give you 9 cents change, and that's without any training to spin or anything. He's very talented and deserves to be in the show pen whether it's reining or team penning or cutting.

This is Dee. She actually belongs to our oldest daughter, Renee. Dee is a great trail riding horse and has taken very good care of Renee on the trails and she's a blast to ride for Ken or I. This is our Skipper W bred horse with Spanish Array right on her papers!
This is Hezakia. She's a Ciderwood mare, and just loves to go trail riding. Whenever Ken saddles up a different horse, she's at the gate, nipping at him, wanting the attention! They sure do make a great team, what one doesn't think of, the other will! Between the two of them, they are usually the entertainment of the rides.
Here's our "spoiled" brat - Little Bit. She's out growing her name. She was named that because when she was born, she was premature and just so tiny and sickly. Thanks to Jay & Ronda Kelly, she's alive. We've brought her home, given her one on one attention (enjoying every minute of it!), and has grown and grown and grown. Lil Bit has been riding very well, especially since she has only had 3 rides this year and last year wasn't ridden due to being kicked by on of the other mares. Lil Bit is all healed now and doing excellent on the trails! She's going to be a very quiet horse, one you can do anything with.
Mary, Mary, quite contrary... That is just about how this mare is too! She belongs to the youngest daughter, RaeAnne. We picked up this mare at an auction many years ago. She was skin and bones and came off a camp string. We figured she was about 4 yrs. old at the time. The first year, she was my "beer drinking" horse. :-) After that first year, RaeAnne and her were inseparable!
This is "Angel". She was named very sarcastically and boy has she lived up to it! Her sire was a registered tobiano paint and her dam was a grade appy mare that Patty had as a teenager. Angel was born and raised on our farm. Both parents were just 15 hands tall, but this "baby" goes well over 16 hands tall - go figure! Trust me, she is HUGE! I guess she's living proof, the longer you let a baby nurse from it's mother, the stronger and bigger they get. At six months of age we took Angel away from her dam, three months later, put them back together in the pasture and you guessed it ... dam came back into milk and Angel was nursing again. This horse nursed on and off until she was three years old! We would consider leasing or selling her to an approved home either in Missouri or New York.
This is Chaz, one of our mustangs. This horse belonged to our oldest daughter Renee, who is a very timid rider. This horse took care of her over miles and miles of trails and they both had a blast! Chaz couldn't be ridden the past couple of years due to problems with his lungs. What our vet was guessing, he had an abcess in one of his lungs and now there is scar tissue. He can only be ridden lightly, now, so no more trail rides for him. He is currently at our Missouri farm and doing wonderful. He is looking great. We believe the cold and damp fall/winters here just aggravate his lungs. We're hoping he'll do much better out there for the winters, we'll see how it goes soon. So far, Chaz is a different horse now that he's in Missouri! We'll see how he fairs the winter, but it sure is looking VERY positive. He would make a great trail horse or walk trot horse for someone wanting to get into 4H and show. We will consider leasing him out, very reasonably, of course, references will be needed to ensure he goes to a great home. He will have to stay in Missouri.
This is Fancy, our "fat mustang"! LOL She a real sweetie and too smart for her britches! Our oldest daughter's friend (& neighbor) learned how to ride on Fancy. Charlotte trail rode Fancy all over with us at organized trail rides and just out riding. She also did very well in her walk/trot classes when she showed Fancy at the County Fair. Fancy is currently at our Missouri farm and is doing wonderfully! She's lost some weight and is much more energetic. We would consider leasing her out to a family out in Missouri to a young girl who would like to ride and possibly get into 4H shows - very reasonable. Email if you are interested.
