The following is a list of a brief description of what we are offering for sale in order to down size our herd to prepare for our move west. All are AQHA registered unless otherwise noted. If you are interested in any of them, please do not hesitate to contact either Ken or Patty. New pics will be coming soon. If you would like to look up a pedigree, try http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/, although not all horses are on there.
In addition to our registered stock, we are also putting up for adoption 2 mustangs (that are out at our Missouri Farm, will bring back to NY if need be in Sept.), Patty's appy X paint mare - excellent trail riding horse - but for a female rider only. Email for more info.
Ben - WQH Silver Fox, sorrel gelding, DOB 5/29/06, sire is Foxy Little Jerry, out of Smart Little Jerry/Foxy Lady Brown, out of Smart Little Lena/Playboys Ruby, Peponita Brown/Lady Doc Nikki. Dam is RW Silver, out of Spinks Blue Man/Peppys Roan Gal, Buck Spinks/Docs Blue Rock Dawn, Peppy Poco Two/Jello Babe. Ben has had a hard life, but boy does he have a heart of gold. We brought him home from MO, very much under weight, the older horses pushed him & others his age out for the feed pens. We got him home, got good weight on him & traded him & 2 other colts for a mare. Well, the poor boy got sold several times down in PA & then to OH. While in PA he was malnourished, yea again. We found him on the internet by accident while looking for a horse for a friend. We got him back, got him started under saddle & he's going FANTASTIC! We love him & wish we had the time/experience/money to get him going for cutting. He would be an excellent prospect! He wants to go, wants to learn and wants to please you. We will sell him only to an approved home. We sadly have to put him up for sale, we just can't keep so many horses. He's a very nice trail riding horse, very responsive with leg cues, neck reins, and is level headed. He's not very big (approx. 14.2H), fined bone, so no big guys/gals. If we don't sell him, that's fine too. $1,200 obo. (you can see pics of him on our "Big Horses" page.
Lady - chestnut mare, DOB 2/27/00, Sire Chocolate Whistler, Dam Cool Ettalena. This foundation bred mare is the spitting image (conformation) of Two-Eyed Jack. She's the granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack - No wonder! She also has fantastic lines such as Topsail Cody, Lena's Bonita and Hilda Pat Star (Legends IV Book) right on her papers. Use her for riding or use her for breeding. She's a very nice mare to be around. She had 30 days on her as a 3 yr. old and has been a pasture pet since. She's in your back pocket (as with all of our other horses) and just LOVES hugs and kisses. A couple years ago, she scratched her eye while reaching across the fence for apples, since then she had developed a cateract in that eye (left) and it had to be taken out. She does excellent in the pasture/barn areas. Is only a little spooky in new places. She is for sale as brood mare only. She has super conformation and a personality that just doesn't quit. She's great to be around in the barn and just loves attention. She's a perfect broodmare to pass on her foundation bloodlines, fantastic body and personality. If interested, email us. $850
LWA COOL LADY F, QUARTER HORSE, 2000

Kit - HR Pick Play Moon, aka Kit, is a beautiful, sweet 4 yr. old bay mare with some fantastic bloodlines. Her sire is Pick Play who has won many hundreds of dollars, who is the son of Freckles Playboy (who is #25 of the working cow horse All Time Stallions that are ranked by LTE offspring. Freckles Playboy is the brother to Colonel Freckles. Her dam is Blantons Half Moon, who goes back to Driftwood, Poco Bueno, Doc Bar and Leo. She is very well bred for either performance or just plain trail riding. She has had approx. 30 days on her, we have just been trail riding her here and there, when there is time. That is one of the reasons we are selling her, simply no time and we have to cut back in order to prepare to move to Missouri. She's a very sweet mare who loves attention. When we call them up from the pasture she is usually one of the first ones to the barn. Let our loss be your gain. Asking $1,500 obo.
